To make money don't forget to use Google Content Advertising Option

Google has recently improved their system so that advertisers can adjust their content bids, independently from search result bids. Be sure to turn this on under your campaign settings, and to choose the separate 'bidding' option as well.

If you find that your content bids are not converting at their default setting, then simply adjust the bids downwards until you are making an acceptable profit. With the new changes to Adwords you can adjust content bids even as low as 1 or 2 cents!. We find that nearly 75% of sales comes from content ads, so this shouldn't be overlooked!

OK You are ready to make a website, now what should you say?

Establish a hard and fast set of Bidding Rules

Once your conversion tracking is set up you will know exactly, right down to the keyword level, which phrases are making you money and which are not. You need some rules to follow to ensure that you don't keep poor performing keywords around any longer than necessary. Here is what we suggest:

* If a keyword has received 300 clicks and is making you money then move your bid up by 1 or 2 cents * If a keyword has received 300 or more clicks and is about doubling your money, then leave it alone * If a profitable keyword is hugely successful and triples your money or better than consider moving up your bid by 1 or 2 cents in the hopes of getting even more traffic * If a keyword has received 300 clicks and has no sales than reduce the bid by a few cents * If a keyword has received 500 or more clicks and has had no sales then drop the bid down again by a few cents * If a keyword has received 1000 or more clicks and has not had a sale then delete the keyword entirely

A good goal is to Double your Pay per click investment dollars. A Superaffiliate may start by spending only $50/day on a product. After a few weeks and continuous work on adding and optimizing their campaigns, your spend/day can be $2000 or more with $4000 per day in revenues. A nice double, and a good goal to strive for.

What is the Google Quality Score?

Google has a proprietary system that analyzes each keyword, adgroup, display URL/actual URL, landing page relevance, maturity of the adgroup and possibly campaign. They may also look at the past history of the advertiser, success of ads, money spent etc. Few people outside their 'inner circle' know exactly how Google assigns the quality score, but this is a HUGE factor in determining what you pay for each click and how much traffic is sent your way.

Google used to use CTR plus max bid to determine your average ad position and traffic count. Now they consider your max bid along with Quality Score. CTR is now simply a component of your overall Quality Score.

The higher your quality score on a given keyword, the less you are required to pay and the more traffic you will receive. In order to maximize your Quality score you can do the following:

* write relevant ads that contain the keyword within the Title and text * make sure the keyword is mentioned on your landing page and if possible - the name of the landing page (for example: fix_window _errors.html) * Some Super-affiliates even register a separate domain for each of their highest volume keywords eg. fix-windows-errors.com

Keyword Insertion for Google is an easy way to insert keywords within the title or body of the ad (There is speculation that Google doesn't like this, and it may not help your Quality Score). Here is the syntax for the keyword insertion tool: {KeyWord: PC Errors}

(By using this in the ad title every single keyword in that adgroup will appear in the title when it is searched)
